First doctor visit of the year

Last night Erek woke up with an upset tummy, went downstairs, climbed into bed with mom and dad, then threw up in their bed. He had a fever too so we all went to the doctor. Erek has strep throat, but Carter is ok. However the doctor put them both on antibiotic. Carter says the medicine tastes like his favorite bubble gum. Erek said the medicine was yummy. Mommy and Daddy told us they didn't have flavored medicine back in the old days (you know, before the turn of the century).

Carter wants to tell everyone he likes engines and diesels and Cranky the Crane. And he loves Lulu. And Molly too. He also likes his new Scooby Doo puzzle. And spiders are cool.

Trip to the zoo

Today we went to the zoo and had a great time.

Happy New Year everyone!

We just got back from Christmas vacation in Asheville and had a great time. We had fun playing with Andrew, Alana, and brand new baby Kirsten! Carter brought his new two-wheel Razor and Erek brought his new three-wheel Razor. We had fun riding our scooters with Andrew and Alana. Paula and David were there too, and David took us all for a hike to the lake and playground.

Mom and Dad went to see some big castle (Biltmore House) and went on a "behind the scenes" tour. They also did the regular tour which included new rooms recently opened to the public. Bor-ing!

Mom and Dad also took us to eat lunch at the old train station in Biltmore Village. That was really cool! The place is packed with model trains all over!!

Carter goes back to gymnastics this coming weekend. Erek will also start Kindermusik for the first time this weekend. And Carter is already excited about his birthday next month!!
